Sustainable production and consumption of energy
Reply Quote
This discussion focuses on the cross-cutting perspective of sustainable production and consumption on energy. In the next two year review/policy cycle of CSD, delegates will re-visit one of the world's most controversial debates. Consumption of fossil fuels result in one of the largest ecological footprints on the planet. CO2 levels relentlessly increase and the disastrous impacts of climate change become increasingly irreversible -- as the talks and negotiations go on. Will CSD12-15 be another round of talk without significant solutions, or will it provide a tangible step forward. Can the production/consumption perspective and agenda offer insights and strategies leading to tangible progress? Join this discussion and share your views!
