Sustainability and the MDGs
With the review of the Millennium Development Goals coming up this September, many wonder whether sustainability will play a leading or diminishing role in the UN agenda. Will the new emphasis on and concept of "security" expand, within the framework of sustainable development, to include social and ecological priorities or will the overarching goals of sustainable development take a backseat to a more restricted view? What are you views on this important topic?
